Pecan Pie Cobbler Delight

Pecan Pie Cobbler Delight 🍂🥧

Ingredients:

For the Cobbler Base:

1 cup all-purpose flour
1 ½ tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
1 cup granulated sugar
½ cup whole milk
¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
1 tsp vanilla extract

For the Pecan Pie Topping:

1 cup light brown sugar, packed
1 cup granulated sugar
1 ½ cups pecan halves
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup water

For Garnish:

Vanilla ice cream or whipped cream
Caramel sauce (optional)

Instructions:

1️⃣ Preheat Oven and Prepare Baking Dish:

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with butter or non-stick cooking spray.

2️⃣ Prepare the Cobbler Base:

In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, salt, and granulated sugar.
Add the milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients.
Mix until just combined; the batter will be slightly thick.
Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly.

3️⃣ Prepare the Pecan Pie Topping:

In a separate bowl, combine the light brown sugar and granulated sugar.
Sprinkle the sugar mixture evenly over the cobbler batter in the baking dish.
Distribute the pecan halves evenly over the sugar layer.

4️⃣ Add the Liquid:

In a measuring cup, combine the heavy cream and water.
Carefully pour the liquid over the entire cobbler mixture, without stirring. The liquid will create a rich, gooey pecan pie layer as it bakes.

5️⃣ Bake the Cobbler:

Place the baking dish in the preheated oven.
Bake for 35-45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the edges are bubbling. The center may still be slightly soft but will set as it cools.

6️⃣ Cool and Serve:

Remove from the oven and let the cobbler cool for about 15-20 minutes.
Serve warm, scooping the cobbler into bowls.

7️⃣ Garnish and Enjoy:

Top with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream.
Drizzle with caramel sauce for an extra touch of sweetness, if desired.
