Ingredients:
- 1 (21 oz) can strawberry pie filling
- 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 (15.25 oz) box vanilla or yellow cake mix
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup crushed graham crackers (optional, for topping)
- Fresh strawberries, for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat Oven: Set your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Layer the Filling: Spread the strawberry pie filling evenly in the bottom of the dish.
- Make the Cheesecake Mixture: In a bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Drop spoonfuls of this mixture over the strawberry filling.
- Add Cake Mix: Sprinkle the cake mixevenly over the top (do not mix).
- Drizzle with Butter & Milk: Pour melted butter and milk evenly over the dry cake mix, making sure it soaks in.
- Bake: Place in the oven and bake for 40–45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the cheesecake layer is set.
- Garnish & Serve: Let cool slightly, then sprinkle with crushed graham crackersand garnish with fresh strawberries if desired. Serve warm or chilled!
