My neighbor, who&#8217;s a peach cobbler purist, said it&#8217;s the best she&#8217;s ever had. Sweet, crispy, and absolutely heavenly!<\/p>\n<p>Ingredients:<\/p>\n<p>4 cups sliced fresh peaches<br \/>\n1 cup granulated sugar, divided<br \/>\n1\/2 cup water<br \/>\n1\/2 cup unsalted butter<br \/>\n1 1\/2 cups all-purpose flour<br \/>\n2 1\/4 tsp baking powder<br \/>\n1\/2 tsp salt<br \/>\n1 1\/2 cups milk<br \/>\nGround cinnamon, for sprinkling<br \/>\nInstructions:<\/p>\n<p>Preheat your oven to 350\u00b0F (175\u00b0C).<br \/>\nIn a saucepan over medium heat, combine peaches, 1\/2 cup sugar, and water. Stir and cook until sugar is dissolved and peaches are soft, about 10 minutes. Remove from heat.<br \/>\nPlace butter in a 9&#215;13 inch baking dish and melt in the preheating oven.<br \/>\nIn a bowl, mix together flour, the remaining 1\/2 cup sugar, baking powder, and salt. Stir in milk until just combined.<br \/>\nPour batter evenly over melted butter in the baking dish, but do not stir.<br \/>\nSpoon peach mixture over the batter, gently pouring in syrup as well. Again, do not stir.<br \/>\nSprinkle the top with ground cinnamon.<br \/>\nBake in the preheated oven for 40 to 45 minutes, until the crust rises to the top and turns golden brown.<br \/>\nServe warm, optionally with ice cream or whipped cream.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Just made this Triple Crust Peach Cobbler and it&#8217;s a revelation!
