- 500 g ground beef (about 4 patties)
- 1 can (300 g) cream of mushroom soup
- 1 small onion, thinly sliced
- 1 packet (25 g) onion soup mix
- 120 ml water (½ cup)
- Salt & black pepper to taste
Optional (but delicious):
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- Fresh parsley for garnish
👩🍳 Instructions
- Form the patties
Shape ground beef into 4 thick patties. Season lightly with salt and pepper. - Optional step (adds flavor):
Brown patties in a skillet for 2–3 minutes per side.
👉 This step is optional, but it helps seal in flavor. - Layer in slow cooker
- Place sliced onions at the bottom.
- Add patties on top.
- Make the sauce
In a bowl, mix:
- Cream of mushroom soup
- Onion soup mix
- Water
- Worcestershire (if using)
- Pour over patties
Cover completely with the sauce. - Cook
- LOW: 6–7 hours
- HIGH: 3–4 hours
Patties should be fully cooked and tender.
