Grated ginger, onion, garlic, lemon juice, and honey. One teaspoon a day

Ingredients

¼ cup ginger, peeled and grated

¼ cup onion, grated (white or yellow)

2 tbsp garlic, grated (4–5 cloves)

3 tbsp lemon juice (from ½–1 lemon)

3–4 tbsp honey (enough to coat, adjust to taste)

Pinch of salt (optional)

Method

Grate: Finely grate the ginger, onion, and garlic into a clean bowl (or use a food processor to make a paste).

Mix: Add the lemon juice, honey, and salt. Stir until everything is well combined and glossy.

Store: Transfer to a clean jar, close the lid, and refrigerate for up to 5 days.

Use: Stir 1 teaspoon into warm water or tea, or take a small spoonful. Shake before using.
